Big news—Surfing in Heaven is officially on the shelf at Kepler’s Books in Menlo Park! Seeing my book in this legendary independent bookstore is a fantastic moment, and I’m honored to be on their bookshelf.
Kepler’s was founded in 1955—whoa! That’s the same year I was born. I won’t count those years for you, but needless to say, they have survived and thrived in an era when indie bookstores have faced innumerable challenges. My wife Marla and I have been enjoying Kepler’s since the early 1990s. They are the kind of place where books truly find their audience.
Even more exciting—Surfing in Heaven has landed in the “New Sports and Health” section, right alongside Steph Curry’s new book, Life’s Lessons from a Legend! To see my book sharing a table with one of the greatest basketball players of our time is crazy.
If you’re in the Menlo Park area, drop by Kepler’s Books and check it out. Support independent bookstores, and maybe grab a copy while you’re there. They have five signed copies.
And please, don’t forget that honest book review!
